The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with proven experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role. You will bring an extensive understanding of architectural frameworks and methodologies along with proficiency in a range of technical applications.

Your Role

As a Solutions Architect, you will lead and support solution design activities and guide the implementation of a portfolio of solutions. Solutions include projects, products, systems (including applications, technologies, processes and information), shared infrastructure services and shared application services. You will have a deep understanding of business goals, objective and business outcomes, business capabilities, value-streams, and business processes. The solutions architect drivers the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks to support the development of technology solutions and ensures that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards. You will create deliverables that articulates the design and deliver roadmaps for solutions – including systems (applications, processes and information), shared infrastructure services, and shared application services and components to enable and drive targeted business outcomes.
About You

You will have experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including application development, middleware, database management or cloud development and an advanced knowledge of Microservice and Service Oriented Architecture design patterns. The role will also require deploying DevOps and DevSecOps best practice including CI/CD automation tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, SaltStack, Terraform and Ansible. The Key Accountabilities for the role will include being able to Translate Business Strategy into Solutions Architecture, leading Solutions Design and Analysis, Orchestrating Solutions Delivery and Facilitates and Collaborating to Deliver Business Outcomes. You will be Trusted and respected as a thought leader who can influence and persuade business and IT leaders and being comfortable, experienced and accomplished at working with business executives, and able to push back in a professional and diplomatic way.

You will ideally have exposure to;

• Contemporary software engineering including selection and application of appropriate technology and patterns
• ANY Consultancy experience is highly desirable.

• Confidence working in a team developing full-stack solutions.
• Defining, installing, or supporting networking solutions.
• DevOps and the techniques which enable it – including virtualisation, containerisation, CI/CD and IaC
