You’ll lead using Agile frameworks, remove any barriers and utilise key metrics and insights to help us make good decisions and delivery better outcomes.

Our Agile Delivery Managers enable high-performing digital teams to create, build, innovate and deliver. We create psychologically safe spaces where digital experts can be at their best.

It’s a complex landscape and you’ll need your skills as a persuasive and engaging communicator, and your experience of delivering and solving cross-cutting problems to get the job done.

You’ll make sure they have what they need to deliver the best services. You’ll identify blockers, and find the best way round through, and over.

You will get the best out of experts in software engineering, process design, user research and user experience design, as well as policy development.

Developing a World-Class Practice.

Our Agile Delivery practice is thriving with over 200 members. We lead a cross-government community which meets once a month to share ideas and discuss emerging trends.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model – you’ll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Companies House Digital and Technology Directorate.

 

We are looking for a Senior Agile Delivery Manager to help scrum teams develop and deliver quality digital services for our millions of users. You’ll have the opportunity to be at the forefront of digital transformation in government and help shape our services to meet the ever-changing demands of the UK’s business landscape.

 

This is a rewarding role within the Agile Delivery Profession and provides an opportunity to contribute to the success of existing and future services provided by Companies House.

Job description

A Senior Agile Delivery Manager is accountable for the effective delivery of complex, high risk products and services. The role is similar to a Delivery Manager role, but Senior Delivery Managers have more experience across a range of products and services, throughout the entire product life cycle, and have greater responsibility and accountability as the main point of escalation.

 

At this role level, you will:
