The successful candidate will be pivotal in shaping financial and regulatory practices, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and financial reporting are maintained.Role & Responsibilities * Lead the development and implementation of accounting policies and regulatory reporting standards. * Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and IFRS accounting * Manage and guide financial analysis and reporting processes to adhere to legal regulations and company policies. * Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate financial statements and business insights. * Review changes in accounting regulations and standards, advising management on necessary actions to remain compliant. * Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, enhancing their skills and ensuring quality in reporting.Key Skills * Profound knowledge and expertise in Statutory Reporting and IFRS 17 Accounting * Must have prior knowldge of working within the UK Insurance Market, either within in industry or consultancy. * Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail. * Ability to interpret and implement accounting standards and regulations. * Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial information clearly and concisely. * Proactive in identifying issues and delivering efficient solutions.
